Abigail Robles

Instructional Assistant

Biography

Abigail was born and raised in San Jose, CA. She attended a k-8 dual immersion institution before continuing her educational journey at Presentation High School. Abigail became aware of her love for education after working as a tutor. She began to take the role of an instructional assistant at Bella Vista Elementary while attending Saint Mary’s College of California. After receiving a dual degree in Psychology (BS) and Spanish and Latin American Studies (BA), she began to work with children who had been diagnosed with severe autism. She initially served in this field as a classroom aide at Alexander-Rose Elementary School. Shortly thereafter, she took on the role of a private caregiver and teacher for a local family.

Abigail Robles joined the St. Lawrence team in August 2023 as an instructional assistant. She works with first, second, and third graders. Using the latest phonics programming, she supports students with the fundamentals in reading and writing. Her foundation rests upon building confidence, community, and self-worth within students.

Outside of work, Abigail spends her day helping take care of her family. She enjoys spending afternoons with her three-legged cat, Quinn.
