Biography
Guadalupe was born and raised in California's Central Valley. As a first-generation college graduate, she embarked on a career path dedicated to educational advancement.
Her journey began in college recruitment at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Transitioning to Radford University in Virginia, Guadalupe focused on Latinx recruitment initiatives, furthering her commitment to inclusive admissions practices. She then transitioned to UC Scout, a program dedicated to college readiness. Throughout her professional tenure, Guadalupe has cultivated meaningful connections with students and their families, established strategic partnerships, and implemented inclusive recruitment strategies.
At St. Lawrence, Guadalupe plays a pivotal role in the school community by spearheading efforts in recruiting new families, providing support to current ones, and elevating brand awareness. Her work is driven by a profound dedication to St. Lawrence's mission, which prioritizes the academic, personal, and spiritual growth of every student.
Outside of work, Guadalupe is engaged in advocacy work, serving as a board member for the University of California Chicanx-Latinx Alumni Association. Additionally, Guadalupe is involved in Toastmasters to enhance her leadership skills. In her leisure time, Guadalupe enjoys spending time with her fiancé.
