Lesa Cassidy

Biography

Ms. Cassidy brings 22 years of heartfelt dedication to the realm of education, infusing every classroom with boundless passion and expertise. Her journey in teaching is profoundly shaped by her role as a parent and her unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds.

Before joining the St. Lawrence Elementary School family, Ms. Cassidy spent 12 fulfilling years as the Kindergarten teacher at St. Martin Elementary. Her transition to St. Lawrence marked yet another chapter in her mission to inspire and empower the next generation.

Prior to her educational career, Ms. Cassidy served as the assistant to the VP of Customer Service at Borland Software Corporation. There, she played a pivotal role in supporting strategic operations and elevating customer service initiatives. It was during this time that she welcomed her two children, Brittany, and Brandon. Both of her children attended catholic schools from K-12.

Originally from upstate New York, Ms. Cassidy has called Silicon Valley home for the past 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from SJSU and an early childhood development degree from the UCSC, her background as a trained historian shapes her approach to teaching, fostering a love of learning and critical thinking in her students.

Beyond the classroom, Ms. Cassidy finds joy in the companionship of her cherished dog, Rally, and the time shared with her children, Brittany and Brandon.  She also enjoys reading captivating books.
