Biography

Mr. Fisher has been teaching drama at St. Lawrence since January 2019. As well as teaching at SLEMS, he teaches, directs, and performs with a variety of schools and theater companies around the Bay Area. For twenty-one years he was a performer with California Theatre Center, a professional company that performed plays for young audiences. As his wonderful wife, Amy says, "He has lived an interesting life."

Prior to getting his teaching credential, he worked as a juggler, tight-wire walker, and unicyclist in the circus. Then after getting his teaching credential, he traveled with Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey as a schoolteacher seeing to the education of the children who traveled with the show. Thanks to all of this, he has managed to visit forty-nine of the fifty states. One of these days, he's going to get to that last one. Can you guess what it is?

In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing card and board games, and learning about almost any subject you can think of.
